I am an experienced clinician, a researcher who holds two doctoral thesis - an MD and a PhD, a trained epidemiologist and statistician having passed the Post Graduate Diploma in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene, hold aCertification in Advanced Epidemiological Analysis from the London School of Hygiene, written more 60 scientific papers, have been a member of the Editorial Board and Reviewer of a number of Scientific Journals, have conducted numerous courses on medical writing and biostatistics and have done medical writing jobs for the pharma industry including protocol development.  In short, I am your one stop center for your needs.

This is how the job is done:

  • You send your request on what is expected of me.
  • I will look at it and assess the job specs. 
  • If I accept the job, an agreement will be sent to you stating the terms, costs and timeline. 
  • If you agree then I will start on the job.
  • Once completed, notice will be given requesting deposit of payment into my account.  
  • Once acknowledged, the script will be sent to you.

 

Editing manuscripts for submission for publication in the health related sciences

Trust me – it is pointless reading your manuscript over and over again. It needs a re-appraisal with a new pair of eyes and by someone who will polish up your manuscript.  It will ensure that your paper has the best chance of acceptance. I will review the document, look at it as a whole, correct the language, style and sentence structure so that it makes very good sense and appears logical. I sometimes change whole paragraphs and re-position them for the best flow.

I have been a clinician and a researcher for past 40 years. I have written books, written more than 60 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals, reviewed scientific papers for various journals and have been writing for health magazines and bulletins for a number of years.  In short, I know what the editor expects from you.

  • You send a copy of your manuscript to me in Microsoft Word format.
  • I will look at it and assess its content and feasibility for editing. 
  • If I accept the job, an agreement will be sent to you stating the terms, costs and timeline. 
  • If you agree then I will start on the job.
  • Once completed, notice will be given requesting deposit of payment into my account. 
  • Once acknowledged, the edited script will be sent to you.
  • Approximate costs: I charge MYR 20/= per page i.e. single space with font size 12.
